Hatchery and fingerling rearing based on the requirements of the local water conditions, for salmon and trout. The system was installed to produce fish for local restocking measures of salmonids. Water is permanently fed into the system from a local well. The facility can be switched to RAS in case the water conditions are not optimal for rearing. The filtration unit consists of an drum filter, moving-bed-bio-filter, trickling filter and UV-disinfection. Water temperature and through-flow can be controlled, based on the requirements. Water level in the channels and the round tanks are adjustable.
